Clarke's Mysterious World" programme which was originally broadcast in the late '70s ~ early '80s. In the episode entitled "Monsters of the Deep", there is, among other things, a fascinating eyewitness interview with a local official who says that he was involved in the examination and disposal of the still fresh and totally intact carcass of very large unknown sea creature that was found washed up on the bank of the River Clyde, in Scotland, in 1942. Apparently, it being the war time the British Navy was especially keen, for some reason(?), to keep it quiet. The gentleman in question comes across as a very credible witness and gives a detailed description of the creature using a well drawn sketch. Well worth a look to anyone interested in this sort of thing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330795933539580290.post-19394667709212654122016-03-27T03:09:30.836-07:002016-03-27T03:09:30.836-07:00Great stories, I personally believe anything could...Great stories, I personally believe anything could be in the Sea.
